Anthony Mackay : Painter

Watercolour and oil painting in the 1990s drew on a solid base of earlier ink drawings and resulted in a series of Ouse landscapes, backed up by flowing watercolour sketches made in Italy, Spain and China. Light and colour reflected in water and the definition which sunlight and shade have on buildings and structures are predominant characteristics of this period.
